Our History
Since opening in 1981, Paesano’s Pizza has been a local favorite, founded by Morris Kolarik with a passion for serving delicious pizza. Over 40 years, his family grew the restaurant into a community gem. In May 2022, Kim and Dudley Smith proudly took over, excited to continue the traditions, recipes, and hard work that built Paesano’s reputation. The Smith family is honored to carry on this legacy and serve the best pizza in town!

Our dining room is a cozy pizzeria with walls covered in photos of patrons, while the outdoor deck offers views of the Boardman River and West Grand Traverse Bay. We treat every guest like family, crafting our pizza masterpieces with the freshest ingredients, scratch-made dough, 100% Mozzarella, and signature sauce.
